Mission:

To make and grow disciples of Jesus in our church, community, and world.

Our mission serves as our map; it's WHAT we do and WHERE we pursue our vision. This is the way we put into practice our Lord's Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).

Vision:

We exist to glorify God as a Jesus-centered community

on a Jesus-centered mission.

Our biblical vision is a picture of the destination we pursue and WHY we exist as a church.  This vision captures God's three-fold purpose of the church, as described in the Bible:

Upward for Worship

First, we look upward to worship Jesus, the radiance of the glory of God,

who upholds the universe by the word of his power (Hebrews 1:3).

To be Jesus-centered means that everything we do magnifies the name of Jesus!

Inward for Community

Secondly, we who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

Now we are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.

Our church life is family life: loving, caring, bearing burdens, helping each other grow closer to Jesus.

Outward for Mission

Thirdly, as the Father sent His Son, Jesus into the world, so Jesus sends us to tell others the Gospel or Good News of Jesus. We seek to demonstrate the Gospel through practical acts of love and mercy and declare the Gospel message of freedom and forgiveness.

Vision & Mission

CHARTING THE WAY AHEAD

membership Explored

Though all believers in Jesus are members of the universal body of Christ, we believe God's Word calls us to identify with or join a particular local church.

We invite you to explore more about Grace Church through our Membership Explored classes. In this 4-session class, you will learn more about Grace Church - what we believe and how we do life and ministry together.

For more information on membership, click HERE.

Home groups

We invite you to visit a Home Group so we can all grow "with a growth that comes from God" (Colossians 2:19).

Our Home Groups meet at least three times per month, including a men's or women's meeting.

Please contact our church office for more information about visiting a home group.

Getting connected at grace church

We're glad you're here...but now what? We want to make sure getting connected at Grace Church is simple and clear, so we've created this page to guide you through the "next steps" of doing just that: getting connected! Keep scrolling for more information on each step.

Middle SChool class

Our middle school class meets bi-monthly after worship. We seek to cultivate a love for God in the 6th-8th graders and to equip them with tools for more in-depth Bible study.

To accomplish this, we engage the students with the bible passages currently being taught by our pastors each week. We use a round table question and answer format and allow the Spirit of God meet us in our discussions.

Children's Ministry exists to proclaim the wonders of Jesus to the children of Grace Church

so they may believe in Jesus and have life in his name.  (John 20:31)

4-6 Year Olds

Our 4yr to 6yr olds are inquisitive, active learners who are eager to hear about Jesus!

During class, these young ones hear an interactive Bible story, followed by singing, fun crafts, games and activities.

Learning about Jesus is fun!

PLANNING YOUR VISIT

When you visit for the 1st time, we encourage you to arrive 15 minutes early to register your child for Grace Kids.

All kids infant through age 6 join the church during worship,

and then are welcome to attend their classes during the sermon.

CHILD SECURITY PROCEDURES

Your child's safety is a high priority at Grace Church.

For this reason, your child will receive a security name tag when they are checked into Children's Ministry.

You keep a corresponding name tag to check-out your child after the service.

All adult volunteers are trained and screened through Ministry Safe.

WELCOME TO GRACE KIDS!

We love kids at Grace Church and treasure each one because they are made in the image their Creator!

  CHILDREN'SMINISTRY

Youth Serving

We believe that Grace Church is not just a church for parents but for the youth as well.

Our youth actively serve in every area of ministry of the church- from helping in Children's Ministry to set-up to playing on the worship team.

By serving, the youth demonstrate the heart of Jesus who came not to be served but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many.

High School

The High School Ministry takes discipleship seriously.

As high school students relate more and more to the world around them, we seek to help them develop their own Biblical convictions through the enduring Word of God.

Learning to engage and affect the culture with the truth of the Gospel is one of the primary goals of our High School ministry.

High school students are not passive learners but are actively applying the Bible to their lives until they "attain to the unity of faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God" (Eph. 4:13).

Our High School group meets every Monday @ 6:30pm in Santee.

Middle School

In this all-important season of life, the middle school youth move from hearing the simple Bible stories of childhood to learning to dig deeper in Bible study and application.

The goal of the Middle School ministry is to cultivate a hunger for God's Word so the youth will grow in their love for Jesus and serve him all the days of their lives.

The middle school youth meet the 1st and 3rd of each month during the Sunday service.

Pursuing Jesus with passion!

We seek to equip and encourage the youth of Grace Church to follow hard after Jesus! To accomplish this, we provide instruction in and around the unshakable Word of God - the Bible. From rock solid truth about God and His Good News flows many opportunities for the youth to serve in all areas of the church, community, and world. We're here to make a difference for Christ in this generation!
